Hello Blog Friends!
This weekend my mom threw my dad a surprise party for his 55th birthday. My dads birthday is the day before mine so for years we have always celebrated together and then I have had a party. My dad does so much for my family that this year my mom wanted to do something special just for him :) We got our close family friends together and decided to go GoKart Racing- and believe me when I say this type of kart racing was intense! Everyone had to wear racing gear and sit through an instructional video. The cars all went about 45MPH which totally freaked me out- I got 6th place out of 7!
After car racing we had BBQ, my dads favorite food, then went to a restaurant/bar downtown to watch and dance to live music. It was sooo much fun and I loved getting to see my parents dance together all night; sometimes I forget they can be fun :)
