30 for 30: Thanksgiving...A Few Days Late...

Old Navy Sweater, Gap Tee, Anthropologie Skirt, Sway Belt, NineWest Shoes

Hello Blog Friends!

I will keep this one short because it is a catch-up post from Thanksgiving...ooops!

Anywho, I am about to drive home from work...it will take me about an 1hr and 15mins, sigh....Are there any good books on CD that you guys would recommend? I find that it totally helps with my commute and have already listened to "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Help".

  2. What kind of books do you like? I dont know what you're into, but I always check out the Audie Awards lists from the past couple years. (http://www.audiofilemagazine.com/2010_audies.html) I'm a big fan of teen/YA books, so I like the Bloody Jack series by L.A. Meyer, also books by Shannon Hale (Goose Girl, Book of a thousand days), and the Hunger Games books. :) The Harry Potter audiobooks are narrated by Jim Dale and are great too :)

My commute really sucks too, so I am ALWAYS listening to audiobooks. Love them! :)

  7. I'm slow on commenting! But- I also ended up having to move home with my parents for a while after living on my own in Boston. Now I commute an hour and a half each way, so I totally feel your pain. Books on tape are AWESOME! So far I've "read" Heart of the Matter- Emily Giffin, "My Sisters Keeper"- Jodi Piccult, "Everyone Worth Knowing" and "Last Night at Chateau Marmont" by Lauren Weisberger, All the "Shopaholic" books... and I've loved them all :)
