30 for 30 : Go For the Green

Old Navy Sweater, Loft Tank & Skirt, Nordstrom Jewelry, Target Headband and tights, Gifted Belt, NineWest Shoes... sorry the picture is blurry, I was borrowing a camera and they settings were all off!

Hello Blog Friends!

How is everyone doing this fine Monday night? Equally important, how are all the participants doing in the 30 for 30 challenge?  I was having a pretty hard time with it this past weekend. You see, I bought a lot of winter clothes right before the challenge, and now I am dying to wear them :(  I also am just getting sick of wearing the same things over and over again.

This morning I felt a bit better when I put this outfit together...I totally forgot I included this sweater in my remix wardrobe, and when I found it I didn't even care how cold it was today- I had to wear it because it was something different!

How have you all been coping with the challenge? I would love to hear your stories! And for those of you not participating in the challenge, what blogs have you enjoyed looking at the most? I can use all the inspiration I can find right now :)

  1. I stumbled upon your blog - and have had quite a fun time checking out the 30/30 challenge...too fun! I've looked at some of the other blogs you've linked...what a great idea! Although, I confess, it really makes me want to shop! LOL!!!

  2. I love this blog of course! and Dwelling & Telling. I also love The Daybook as well. I wish I could participate in this, but I came into this blogosphere a little late but I love reading other blogs.

Also, your hair looks so pretty and I love your necklace!

  3. Ohh, I love how you layered those necklaces. Great idea. And I definitely admire your bravery for diving into the 30x30. I'm not sure I can do it!

This blog is awesome, as is Dwelling & Telling and 26 and Counting. I also love The Daybook. DaFashionista.com isn't doing the 30x30 but she's great inspiration. I have added a list of my favorites to the sidebar of my blog, if you're interested.

  4. LOVE this green cardi...love. sadly enough all my 30 for 30 are basically all my clothes anyway (i am pregnant so i don't have a lot maternity clothes regardless) but i've realized some things that I really want to buy...like more cardigans and more color! all my things are blue, black or grey...so sad because it's totally not me...they are just maternity clothes though. what number are you on? have you been doing weekends? it's SO hard to make the same clothes look different, I think you've been doing a great job, i put you on my google reader because you were one of the 30/30 that looked like you had an interesting blog. good luck!

  5. You look so good in that shade of green! I'm definitely missing the rest of my clothes too, I'm on day 25, but 30 seems so far away still!

  6. I'm hanging in there although I can now begin to start to see the finish line and am getting quite excited. I would do it again in a heartbeat though!

  7. It's Day 23 for me, it snowed so I went with jeans for work... I struggled a little bit last Monday/Tuesday but have been ok since then. I am a little bored of wearing (and washing!) the same things all the time but 30 items is a lot; I still have one unworn item!

Apart from yours, I read You, Me & Anthropologie, What Would A Nerd Wear, Blue Collar Catwalk, Sidewalk Chic, Infinite Whimsey, Unravelled Threads....!

  8. After the holiday I struggled to get back into the swing of the things. But with that first day back in "full" blogging mode I'm feeling better about the last few days! Stay motivated!

  9. I love the two necklaces. They look awesome paired together. I am also loving the cardigan.I would never be brave enough to wear an acid green, but you're totally pulling it off.

  10. That is such a wild color of green, but you pull it off so well. I think the fact that it is a classic shape paired with other classic pieces makes it even better.
