Shellac Nails
Hello Friends!

I cannot believe that Christmas Eve is in two days. It's weird, because normally I cram to get everything done last minute but this year I finished everything early. What. a. concept... Any-who, all I have left to do is hang out and enjoy the Holiday Season. Oh and work, I have to do that too :)

Yesterday was such a treat, one of my favorite co-workers (she's probably the nicest and most genuine person at my company) took me to this little cafe that was playing Christmas music in the background and we sat in front of the fireplace to eat lunch and she taught me how to knit.  It was so much fun and really put me in the Christmas spirit.

Then, after work I met up with my mom and we got manicures and pedicures- my fav! I usually only get pedicures for special occasions and manicures about once a year, but since I have been hearing about this new Shellac Nail thing, we both wanted to give it a try. If you haven't heard of it yet it is this type of nail polish that supposedly lasts about 2-3 weeks and does not chip, crack, or wear off. Today it looks great (as it should) but I will let you know how it holds up through the holidays.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Aw, what a lovely lunch you had the other day! Sounds so Christmas-y. :)

A few of my girlfriends have done the Shellac Nails thing recently, and theirs look great (as do yours). I'm considering doing it as well - it may be the cure to my unfortunate nailpicking habit!

Love the vibrant scarf and the floral top here. So pretty!

  2. Oh my gosh, I hate how you get the cutest things from Sway, because I can't go out and copy you. LOL.

Those shellac nails look fantastic. Is it really expensive? I want to try it out!

  5. I've gotten collagen gel nails twice (which from what I can tell is pretty much, if not definitely, the same thing) - the first time I got a french manicure like you have, but it seemed like they used the regular white for the tips on mine, and that part chipped. The second time I got a solid color and it was perfect after 2 and a half weeks, I just got bored of the color (and my nails got too long!)

    Happy Holidays!

  6. My aunt got shellac nails all summer long. She liked them a lot while she had them but they destroyed her nails.

I really like this outfit. It makes you look ridiculously super skinny (I mean this in a good way).
